Su San

Su San is a Malaysia-based independent electro-darkpop artist, songwriter, and producer whose music draws from her Southeast Asian identity to craft immersive worlds exploring self-acceptance, belonging, and transformation. Blending ethereal electronics with haunting textures, her sound is as atmospheric as it is emotionally charged.

A Chevening Scholar and BBC Horizons Launchpad alumna, she holds an MA in Songwriting and Production from the University of South Wales, and has since released four EPs and her debut album Where the Sun Can’t Find Us, earning three features on BBC Music Introducing. Beyond music, Su San founded Wicked Lady Publishing to empower young female songwriters in Malaysia — a contribution that earned her a Top 5 shortlist at the British Council Alumni Awards 2026.
