Prou

Prou is a two-piece nu disco and funk outfit from Pekanbaru, Indonesia, built around the chemistry of Eka Rio Nurcahyono and Ghafur WD. Their sound is unapologetically groove-driven — warm basslines, slick rhythms, and an infectious energy designed to get bodies moving from the first beat.

On their 2024 debut album Far Away, the duo lays out their vision in full: music that is feel-good without being shallow, danceable without being disposable. Tracks like “One More” and “After Rain” show a band with a sharp instinct for melody and momentum.
