Dua Empat

Dua Empat is a Jakarta-based jazz guitar duo formed by two conservatory graduates whose shared passion for the genre has made them one of Indonesia’s most compelling voices in contemporary jazz. Across four albums — Two Of A Kind (2017), Swinging Down The Chimney (2017), Head In The Clouds (2021), and Some Of My Best Friends Are Jazz Cats! (2023) — they have built a devoted following while proliferating jazz culture among Indonesian youth.

Their work earned them a win for Best Jazz Album at the 26th AMI Awards, and their reputation has since taken them to festival stages across Indonesia and Asia.
